She is a yogi, soap maker, development worker, tree planter and compassionate human being with a heart full of love. Vanessa has been studying yoga since 2008 during her travels around Canada and the world. From more traditional practices during her time in India and Indonesia, to more modern practices like power yoga or yoga for creativity, she has been blessed to experience a large spectrum of approaches and styles from many talented teachers. In a move to commit more fully to her personal practice, Vanessa completed a Sama Yoga teacher training course with the beloved Sky Akasha in Ubud, Bali. Sama Yoga found its way deep into Vanessa’s heart, finally fitting together many aspects of her personal path to a greater understanding and helping her to take large bounds forward in her yogi life. Currently settled in Victoria, BC, Vanessa is available for private teachings of Sama Yoga with guidance about diet, mindfulness, and holistic health. To every student she brings conscious and full compassion, hoping to spark joy and harmony, and leave students balanced for a productive day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
