Meet sky in presence or via Zoom in Borgeby in January.

The demand was high when Sky held two workshops last autumn, and many people asked for more of this. So we’re doing it again!

Don’t miss this unique opportunity after the Christmas break, book early, as Sky’s yoga classes are usually in very high demand!

The classes will be held in English.

Sky brings 35 years of experience in Yoga, Ayurveda and breath work. He offers Pranayama in a balanced, accessible way, simple to learn, easy to integrate, and deeply beneficial. 

Sky studied a sequence of nine pranayamas with his revered teacher, Dr. Vasant Lad, and has written a clear, practical guide: Pranayama, A Practical Handbook.

Please note that booking is binding, but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend if needed.

If you’re feeling slightly unwell and choose not to come to the studio, you’re welcome to join via Zoom instead.

Sama Yoga is Kindness: The Essential Ingredient

In Sama Yoga, we cultivate three core qualities: continuity, integration, and kindness.

Continuity

We begin by settling into relaxed breath and gentle spinal movements, keeping our attention steady from pose to pose and into the pauses between them. The whole class becomes a meditation in motion.

Integration

When we rest, we give space for the body’s natural intelligence to respond and absorb the practice. By simply watching and being present, the impressions of each posture are integrated more deeply.

Kindness

This quality is simple yet profound. Can we meet our own stories, tensions, and inner experiences with kindness? When we do, the heart softens, healing becomes possible, and life feels more supported from within.

 

Workshop Saturday January 10th 

Yoga & Pranayama for Great Health

Come and experience how conscious breathing can refresh your energy, calm the mind, and support whole-body well-being.

Deepen your understanding of breath and its power to support vibrant health.

In this workshop, we begin with a an introduction to what Pranayama is, look at 16 health benefits, and how you can make it part of your daily life.

To prepare for the Pranayama practice we will employ some classical Yoga movements and smooth flowing sequences to open the lungs and breath. Further we will stretch the body well and stabilize the mind.

Short rests and relaxation between the poses help to integrate and support the process.

Expect to feel open, light and clear-minded, yet grounded and relaxed.


Where:

Kornetthuset venue for yoga classes is located 20 minutes from Malmö and 30 minutes from Helsingborg, at Kornettvägen 5 in Borgeby, 2 minutes from the ‘Borgeby’ exit on the E6 between Malmö and Helsingborg. There is plenty of free parking outside.
